My first story for Food Republic is live! ☕️ My first story for Food Republic is live! ☕️

With thousands of locations and seemingly endless ways to customize a drink, there’s a lot that keeps customers coming back. But there are also a few complaints that come up again and again.

Paso Robles is known for its wineries, but the reg Paso Robles is known for its wineries, but the region's story extends well beyond the vineyard.

For this piece, I explored local coffee shops, regenerative lavender farming, mushroom cultivation, family-friendly attractions, and vineyards rooted in an ancient seabed.

The full story takes a closer look at the places, people, and discoveries that reveal another side of Paso Robles. Read it at the link in bio.

This piece was a personal one. It started as a re This piece was a personal one.

It started as a reflection on moving to Los Angeles for my first love (the wrong guy) and eventually finding my true love. But somewhere along the way, it became a reflection on where my journalism career began.

Looking through old notes, photos, and emails from my time in LA reminded me how one connection changed the trajectory of my career.
LA really is where dreams are made of sometimes... as cliché as it sounds.

Read the full piece to see how one decision shaped my career, my family, and the life I have today.
